TEMPI’S LAMELESS

Tempi is a young English thoroughbred from a racing stable. He has suffered an injury to his left front leg and has also undergone an operation which has left him with intermittent lameness. We wanted to shorten these periods so that he could get back into his normal rhythm as soon as possible. The soft laser device was a great help!

How did the laser help Tempi?

Tempi is a young English thoroughbred. The stable we brought him from was a racing stable. Tempi injured the equatorial ligament in his left front leg and had surgery at 1.5 years old. Since then, we have had recurrent lameness from time to time, which has healed in about two weeks so far. Tempi, my livery horse, the boy who owns the horse, was very distressed at times like this. He was not allowed on the horse for at least two weeks, and unfortunately we knew from experience that the lameness would return again in a longer or shorter time.

That is when I acquired a high-powered laser, and we started to treat Tempi. The results were amazing: what used to take two weeks to heal now took three days. And I suspect the regular treatments are also strengthening the young horse’s legs.

Would the laser also help your horse?

It also depends on the type and severity of the injury. Contact us on this page and we will be happy to assist with personalised advice.
