Nowadays it is often not cold enough to freeze the ground, which is also not optimal, but perhaps slightly better than standing in wet mud. It is understandable that horses do not like such conditions and standing on wet and muddy ground can cause them to develop sallenders and malanders. We usually treat them with ointment, but this time we put a laser on them straight away before we started creaming them. The result: after a few days of treatment, they are healing nicely, drying up, and we have not even started creaming.
